After noticing Debra Torré’s album on the Isle of Deserted Pop Stars music blog, it inspired me to do an entry about her myself.

Debra was a pop\freestyle singer back in the late 80’s\early 90’s. There’s
little background information about her, but she only released one album before fading into obscurity.

In 1986, Debra released the single, “Is It Too Late for Tomorrow” under the name “Torré” on Blue Chip Records. It’s unknown how or if the single was successful.

In 1990, Debra released the single, “Conceal Your Love” on Esquire Records. According to the Isle of Deserted Pop Stars blog, the song was a minor dance hit, but it’s unknown if it charted at all.

During that same year, Debra released her one and only album, “Step It Out.” It’s unknown how or if the album ever charted on the Billboard 200 chart.  The follow-up single, “Fast Lane” was released and before we knew it, Debra Torré had faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what she’s up to today.
