Drama was a female R&B trio from the 90’s that consisted of Regina Craig, Thea Norman and Malinda Jenkins. They were signed to Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis’ A&M Records-distributed label, Perspective Records and were discovered by the late Gerald LeVert, who helped produce their debut album.

In 1994, the trio released their one and only album, “Open Invitation.” It’s unknown how or if the album ever charted on the Billboard 200 or R&B Albums chart. seemeTheir single “See Me” peaked at #76 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 8 weeks, but missed the Billboard Hot 100.
not todayAnother single “Not Today” was released, but didn’t appear to chart all. After that, it seemed as if Drama had faded into obscurity.
