K.R.U.S.H. was a short-lived R&B trio that consisted of Christy Williams, Ashley Jackson (born Karan Ashley Jackson on September 28, 1975 in Odessa, Texas) and Angie Smith from Texas. They were formed by Tim Grace and Ron Day in Dallas, Texas.

After a year of practices, K.R.U.S.H. signed a record deal with A&M Records through music producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. In 1993, they released their only single, “Let’s Get Together Now (So Groovy)” which was featured on the Damon Wayans movie, “Mo Money” soundtrack.

It’s unknown how or if the single ever charted. They worked on an album, but it was never released. After that, it seemed as if they had faded into obscurity.

Ashley Jackson (now going the name Karan Ashley) portrayed the role Aisha Campbell, the Yellow Ranger in the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” series and appears to still be active as an actress these days. It’s unknown what Christy Williams and Angie Smith are up to these days.
