The Rose Brothers were an R&B quartet from Chicago, Illinois that consisted of Bobby, Greg, Larry and Kenny Rose.

In 1985, they released their self-titled debut album which peaked at #32 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart.

The first single “I Get Off On You” peaked at #28 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 16 weeks. R-2512396-1290792254

The follow-up single “Wall to Wall Freaks” peaked at #93 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for only 4 weeks.

During that same year, the Rose Brothers released their second album “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” which didn’t appear to chart at all. easyloveThe first single “Easy Love” peaked at #29 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 15 weeks.

The follow-up single “I Get A Rush” peaked at #66 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 8 weeks.

In 1987, the quartet released their third and last album to date “In the Mix” which didn’t appear to chart at all. putmoneywheremouthisThe first single “I Put My Money Where My Mouth Is” peaked at #68 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 11 weeks.

The title song managed to peak at #69 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks. After that, it seems as if the Rose Brothers faded into obscurity.
