Ghetto Girlz were a female hip-hop duo from the 90’s. Not much information is given about them, but one of the members’ name was Deanna Bennett.

In 1992, the duo released their one and only album, “Ain’t Takin No S@#t” which didn’t appear to chart at all on the Billboard charts.

The only single released from the album, “My Man’s Playin’ Tricks On Me” peaked at #22 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart. The song was a female version of the Geto Boyz’s song, “My Mind’s Playin’ Tricks on Me.”

After that, it seemed as if the Ghetto Girlz have faded into obscurity. Deanna Bennett wrote songs for Flip Squad Allstars and Keith Murray.
