Dis ‘N’ Dat were an R&B duo from the 90’s that consisted of sisters Tishea “Dis” and Tenesia “Dat” Bennett.

In 1993, the duo released their first single “Whoot, Here It Is!” which was an answer song to 95 South’s song “Woot, There It Is.” The song peaked at #121 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.

In 1994, Dis ‘N’ Dat released their only album “Bumpin” which peaked at #24 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart and #53 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart. The lead single from the album, “Party” peaked at #102 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, #11 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart, #24 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music\Maxi-Singles Sales chart and #59 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 20 weeks.Dis ‘N’ Dat’s highest chart appearance to date was the single, “Freak Me Baby” (featuring 95 South, 69 Boyz and K-Nock) which peaked at #60 on the Billboard Hot 100, #13 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart, #50 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music\Maxi-Singles Sales chart and #38 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 20 weeks.

After that, it seemed as Dis ‘N’ Dat have faded into obscurity.
