Kausion were a hip-hop\rap trio from Los Angeles, California that consisted of Ronald “Gonzoe” Moore, Cel, and Kaydo. They were signed to Ice Cube’s Lench Mob Records label in 1995.

During that same year, Kausion released their only album, “South Central Los Skanless” which peaked at #37 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart and #23 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart.

Their first single, “What Do You Wanna Do?” peaked at #106 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, #36 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart,  and #72 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart in September of 1995, staying on the chart for 10 weeks.

The follow-up singles, “Land of the Skanless” and “O\G’s Trippin” failed to chart at all. Kausion’s final appearances were on the 1997 “Supercop” soundtrack with the song, “I’ll Do It” which also featured Tha Dogg Pound and “Lil’ Sumpin” from the “Lawhouse Experience, Vol 1” compliation album.

After that, Kausion broke up. It’s unknown what the members of the group are up to today.
