EOL (short for Elements of Life) were an R&B quartet from Washington, DC that consisted of members Ike, John, Priest, and Scooter.

In 1997, EOL released their first single, a cover version of Anita Baker’s “Sweet Love” which peaked at #56 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks. A year later in 1998, the quartet released their self-titled debut album on RCA Records. It’s unknown how or if the album ever charted.

Their second single, “Love the Way” peaked at #70 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #39 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 15 weeks.

After that, it seemed as if EOL had faded into obscurity.
