Randy Hall was an R&B singer from the mid to late 80’s. Not much information is given about him, but he was signed to MCA Records and was in a music group called Pleasure.

In 1984, Randy released his debut album, “I Belong To You” which peaked at #30 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart. The first single, “I’ve Been Watching You (Jamie’s Girl)” peaked at #18 on Billboard’s Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 16 weeks.

The follow-up single “A Gentleman” peaked at #60 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 7 weeks.

In 1988, Randy released his second and last album to date, “Love You Like a Stranger.” It’s unknown how or if the album ever charted. His only chart appearance to date was the single, “Slow Starter” which peaked at #36 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 7 weeks.

The follow-up single, “As Long as I Can Last” didn’t make any impact on the charts, but it was featured on the “Can’t Buy Me Love” soundtrack in 1987.

After that, it seemed as if Randy had faded into obscurity.
