Danesha Starr (born in East Oakland, California) is a female R&B singer from the 90’s. Not much information is given about her, but she was signed to Interscope Records.

In 1998, she released her only single (which she wrote), “As Long As I Live” (featuring R&B singer Rome) which peaked at #101 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and #49 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 9 weeks.

After that, Danesha was dropped from Interscope and seemingly faded into obscurity,

These days, Danesha continues to perform music under the name Dee Dee Simon.
