Veronica Underwood (born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)  is a former female R&B singer from the 80’s.

She has performed with Celine Dion, Diana Ross, Michael Bolton, & Phyllis Hyman (whom she also toured with extensively) and has recorded with Patti Labelle, Lou Rawls, and Eugene Wilde.

In 1985, Veronica released her self-titled debut album on Philly World Records. It’s unknown how or if the album ever charted. The only single released from the album “Victim of Desire” peaked at #46 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music\Club Play chart and #61 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 9 weeks.

These days, it appears that Veronica is still active in the music business, but only in Christian & Gospel music.
