Def Con 4 were a 90’s R&B trio from the Bronx, New York that consisted of members David “Def Melody” Sanchez, Guy Vaughn, Kenny Bobien and Steven Ray.

Not much information is given about them, but they were signed to Reprise Records. In 1990, they released their self-titled debut album which didn’t appear to chart at all.

Their only chart appearance was the single, “Say U Love Me” which peaked at #45 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 11 weeks.

After that, it seems as if Def Con 4 has faded into obscurity.
