Tim Owens (born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) was an R&B singer from the 90’s.

Not much information is given about him, but he released one album on Atlantic Records in 1991 before fading into obscurity.

The first single released from the album, “I’m Hooked” peaked at #76 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 5 weeks.  His highest chart appearance to date was the follow-up single, “Smile” which peaked at #31 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 11 weeks.

After that, it seems as if Tim has faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from him since.
