Lé Gent were a New York R&B quartet from the 90’s whose members consisted of Larry Gatling (the brother of Timmy Gatling, who was a member of R&B group, Guy), Ron Wilson (the son of late R&B singer, Jackie Wilson), Scott Weatherspoon, and Eric White.

In 1991, the group released their self-titled debut album on Reprise Records. It’s unknown how or if the album ever charted. The first single, “Time For Love” didn’t make much impact on the charts.

Their second single, “Woman’s Heart” managed to peak at #85 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart in August of 1991, staying on the chart for 4 weeks. After that, it seemed as if Lé Gent has faded into obscurity.
