They were formed after they became friends and discovered they all had something in common: music, dancing, and acting.
In the summer of 2000, Nobody’s Angel released their self-titled debut album which peaked at #184 on the Billboard 200. They were featured on the “Pokemon: The Movie” soundtrack with the song, “Pokemon World” featuring boy band Youngstown and appeared in the television movie, “Model Behavior.”
In 2001, Amy Sue and Stacey left the group to pursue solo careers of their own. They were replaced by singer\actress Jennie Kwan and Tai-Amber Hoo (who was a former member of girl group, Gyrl). They recorded songs for the “102 Dalmatians” and “The Princess Diaries” soundtrack, but they later broke up. Their sophomore album was supposed to be released in 2002, but it was eventually shelved.
Sarah Smith continues to work as an actress. Amy Sue Hardy is married with two sons, performs with the Colorado Springs Philaharmonic, and starred in plays such as “The Pirates of Penzance” and “Chicago.” Jennie Kwan continues to act and sing. Stacey Harper also worked as an actress, but it’s unknown what she’s up to today.
Ali Navarro continues to act and is the creator & executive producer of the children’s music show, “Twinkle Time.” She also co-owns a popular kids birthday party company in Los Angeles called Lil’ Star Parties. It’s unknown what Tai-Amber Hoo is up to these days.
