IMG_2031Angee Griffin (born on February 27, 1968 in Miami, Florida) was a female R&B singer from the late ’80s\early ’90s.

In 1989, she released her debut album “Gentle” on Skyyline Records. It’s unknown how or if the album made the charts at all.

Her first single “Toby” (a cover version of the Chi-Lites song) peaked at #47 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks.Angee released three more singles “Gentle,” “The Rain” and “Who’s First,” but neither of them made the charts.

Angee appeared on Luke’s single, “You & Me” which also featured H-Town, which managed to peak at #94 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for only 4 weeks.

After that, it seems as if Angee has faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from her since.
