D’LaVance (born Darren LaVance Sullivan in Los Angeles, California) was an R&B singer from the mid-’80s/early ’90s.

Not much information is given about him, but he produced music for artists such as Lateasha, the Jets, Klymaxx, Bernadette Cooper, Body, Troy Hinton, Angela Winbush, J.T. Taylor and Art Madison. beenwaitingforkiss

In the mid-’80s, D’LaVance released two singles “I Been Waiting For a Kiss” (in 1984) and “Beat Around the Bush” (in 1985) on Tuckwood Records. The single, “Itchin’ in My Pants” charted at #73 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 6 weeks. doesitfeelgoodThe follow-up single “Does It Feel Good” failed to make the charts at all. These days, D’LaVance is the owner of his own publishing company Beat Seekers Music and a producer at Song Industry Music. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
