imageJohn White (born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) was an R&B singer from the ’80s.

imageIn 1987, he released his only album “Night People” on Geffen Records. It’s unknown how or if the album made the charts at all.

The first single from the album “Victim” didn’t appear to make the Billboard charts at all. The title song was released as a single, but didn’t make the charts either.

The last single from the album “(Can’t) Get You Out of My System” peaked at #27 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 13 weeks.

After that, it seems as if John faded into obscurity, but according to a YouTube comment, it appears that he passed away sometime in the early ’90s.
