imageHer Sanity were a female R&B trio from the 2000s that consisted of Tamika “Cookie” Neville & her cousin Maria “Sunni” Fitch (from New Orleans, Louisiana) along with Lindsay “Linz” Robinson (from Queens, New York).

Cookie had been singing & performing since she was three years old.

Sunni’s parents Connie & Dwight Fitch are well-known musicians in New Orleans. Her mom has performed with Ray Charles, recorded music with Dr. John and is the co-director of the Xavier College gospel choir (along with her husband).

Linz attended Manhattan’s Professional Performing Arts School and studied dance at the Alvin Ailey dance studio. imageIn 2002, they released their debut single “Xclusive” (featuring rapper The Lox) on Motown Records.

The song managed to peak at #95 on Billboard’s Hot R&B\Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for only 2 weeks. imageIn June of that same year, Her Sanity released their debut (and only) album “Xclusive.” It’s unknown how or if the album made the charts at all.

After that, it seemed as if Her Sanity faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what they are up to these days.
