She began singing in church as a young girl and later decided to pursue a singing career after she sang the National Anthem at a high school championship game. Shortly after that, Jessica was signed to Warren G’s record label G-Funk Music.
In 2000, Jessica released the single “Get Up” which peaked at #79 on Billboard’s Hot R&B\Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 6 weeks. It was featured on the movie soundtrack to “Big Momma’s House.”
During that same year, she released her debut album “You Can’t Resist” which didn’t appear to make the Billboard album charts at all.
After that, nothing much was heard from Jessica until 2005 when she became the winner of the reality TV show “Road to Stardom.” Due to personal & business issues, Jessica took a break from the music business.
These days, Jessica (who now goes under her full name) is back in the studio, working on a new project & resides in New York.
