imageExhale was a female R&B group from Washington, DC that consisted of  Natasha “Tasha” Belton, Tokiko “Tiko” George and LaToya “Toya” Watson.

Toya began playing the saxophone in elementary school, started singing when she was 12 years old and studied music in high school. Tasha began singing when she was 11 years old. Tiko began singing when she was 9 years old and before meeting up with Tasha and Toya, she was in a Top 40 band. Like Toya, she also played the saxophone.

Together, the girls sang at talent shows, school basketball games and performed at charity events in Washington, D.C.

After meeting professional boxer Evander Holyfield, Exhale was invited to audition for his record label, Real Deal Records and was signed to the label the next day.

In 2001, Exhale released their self-titled debut album. It’s unknown how or if the album made the Billboard album charts at all.

The song’s remixes managed to peak at #35 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music\Club Play Singles chart.

After that, it seems as if Exhale has faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what the girls are up to these days.
