R-5583158-1397215903-6497In 1987, Chilla released his debut single “Bedtime Stories” under the name “Chilla Frauste and the Ice Cold Crew.” The song sampled Nu Shooz’s song “I Can’t Wait,” but didn’t appear to make any impact on the charts.
R-319322-1437719277-9135In 1988, he released his second single “Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose” which received minor reception in South Florida, but didn’t make any music charts at all.

getoffDuring that same year, Chilla released his third single, a cover version of Foxy’s song “Get Off.”

Neither the album or single appeared to make any impact on the charts and after that, it seems as if Chilla Frauste has faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what he’s up to these days.
