ShanDozia (born Shannon Myvett in 1979 from Los Angeles, California) was a male R&B singer from the late ’90s\early ’00s.
As a child, ShanDozia began singing in talent shows and high school groups. In 1994, he was signed to Vybe Squad Entertainment when he was 15 years old which in turn arranged an audition with Quincy Jones’ record label, Qwest Records.
In 1999, he released his debut single “Baby I Like” which peaked at #96 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 3 weeks.
His follow-up single “Pink Pannies” didn’t appear to make any impact on the Billboard charts at all.
In April of 2000, ShanDozia released his self-titled debut (and only) album which didn’t appear to chart at all on Billboard’s album charts.
The last single released from the album “Damn You” flopped and after that, it appeared as if ShanDozia had faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what he’s up to these days.
