kakkoKakko (born Kakko Suzuki on September 23, 1969 in Osaka, Japan) was a Japanese female pop singer from the early ’90s.

When she was 17 years old, Kakko attended an American school in Kobe, Japan where she was discovered by a scout from CBS Records. She later moved to the United Kingdom where she attended a music school in London before attracting the attention of music producers Stock, Aitken and Waterman.

In 1991, Kakko returned to Japan and began working under the stage name “Anju Suzuki” and since then, she has appeared in television dramas & commercials in Japan.
