Christine Milton (born on July 18, 1985 in Amger, Denmark) is a Danish pop singer from the 2000s. She was raised in Gilleleje, Denmark and has three siblings.
Christine began taking singing lessons when she was 14 years old. She participated in the second series of the Denmark version of the reality TV series “Popstars”, but didn’t win the competition. Despite that, she signed a deal with record label BMG.
In January of 2003, she released her debut single “Superstar” which became a big hit, topping the Danish Singles charts, sold over 12,000 copies and was certified Platinum. During that same year, British R&B singer Jamelia covered the song which became a hit in the United Kingdom and topped the charts in other countries as well.
In July of 2003, Christine released her follow-up single “Whicketywhack (I Ain’t Coming Back)” which peaked at #4 on the Danish Singles chart.
In March of 2004, she released her third single “Shine On” which peaked at #8 on the Danish Singles chart.
A month later, Christine released her debut album “Friday”. It’s unknown how or if the album made any album charts.
The last single released from the album “So Addictive” which didn’t appear to make the charts at all.
After that, nothing much was heard from Christine until 2007 when she released her first Danish-language single “Det’ forbi”. It’s unknown how or if the single charted at all.
A year later in 2008, she released another single called “Tilbage”, but like her previous single, it’s unknown how or if the song made the charts at all.
In April of 2010, Christine released a new single called “Leave You Now” (under the name “Milton”).
These days, Christine appears to still be active in the entertainment industry where she has worked as a TV presenter and also appears to still be active with her music career, but it’s unknown if she plans on releasing any new music any time soon.
