Gina Lanze was a female freestyle\dance singer from the ’90s. Not much information is given about her, but she was signed to Tazmania Records. In 1994, she released her first single “I Will Carry On.” It’s unknown how or if the single charted at all. In 1995, Gina’s follow-up single “U Threw It All Away” didn’t appear to make much impact on the charts at all.
After that, it seems as if Gina Lanze faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what she’s up to these days.

10db was an R&B duo from California that consisted of Stanley “Girard” Thermond and Audrey “Paris” Hollis. In 1989, they released their only album “Steppin’ Out” on Crush Music Records. It’s unknown how or if the album charted at all. The first single “I Burn For You” peaked at #43 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 11 weeks. The follow-up single, a cover version of Smokey Robinson & the Miracles’ song “I Second This Emotion” peaked at #18 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 13 weeks, becoming their highest chart appearance on the R&B chart to date. The last single released from the album “Steppin’ Out (Tonight)” peaked at #61 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for only 6 weeks.
After that, it seems as if 10db faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what Audrey and Stanley are up to these days.

Vicious Rumor Club was a hip-hop music act from the ’80s. Not much information is given about them, but they released singles on the Time-X and Sunnyview record labels.
In 1986, they released their first single “Yeah, Yeah That’s It (Rumor Rap)” on Time-X Records. It’s unknown how or if the single made the charts at all. During that same year, they released another single “Whole Lotta Love” on Sunnyview Records which also didn’t appear to make the Billboard charts at all.
After that, it seems as if the Vicious Rumor Club faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what they are up to these days.

Loon (born Chauncey Lamont Hawkins on June 20, 1975 in Harlem, New York) is a male rapper from the 2000s who was signed to P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Records.
He appeared on songs by various artists such as P. Diddy, Faith Evans, Toni Braxton, Dream, 3LW, LSG, Foxy Brown, Jagged Edge, Wyclef Jean, Jene and Brand Nubian. On October 21, 2003, Loon released his self-titled debut album which peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart. The lead single “How Do You Want That” (featuring Kelis) peaked at #88 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #41 on Billboard’s Hot R&B\Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart (staying on the chart for 20 weeks), making it Loon’s only solo appearance on the Hot 100. The follow-up single “Down For Me” (featuring Mario Winans) fared better on Billboard’s Hot R&B\Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, peaking at #28 on the chart and staying on the chart for 20 weeks, but missed the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2004, Loon left Bad Boy Records and started his own record label called Boss Up Entertainment. He released two independent albums “No Friends” and “Wizard of Harlem” in 2006.
In 2009, Loon converted to Islam and changed his name to Amir Junaid Muhadith. In November of 2011, while visiting Brussels, Belgium, he was arrested & extradited to the United States due to long-standing drug offences.
Currently, he is serving a prison sentence of 14 years.

Detroyt was an R&B family singing quartet from Detroit, Michigan that consisted of the Boone family: Curtiss, Everett, Herschel and Petrena. They were led by Rick Timas & Vincent Bramley (who are known for writing New Edition’s song “Cool It Now”). In 1983, Curtiss & Herschel released a single “((Party People) Throwdown” under the name “Boone Bros.” In 1984, the quartet released their only self-titled album on Tabu Records. It’s unknown how or if the album made the charts at all. The first single “Physical Lover” peaked at #84 on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for only 4 weeks. The follow-up single “Back to Back” failed to make any impact on the charts and after that, it seemed as if Detroyt faded into obscurity.
Curtiss Boone went on to write & perform on albums by artists such as Wendy Moten, Oleta Adams, Tina Moore and Gerald Alston.
Herschel Boone appears to still be active in the music business, writing & providing vocals on albums by artists such as Tamika Patton, Anita Baker, Rhonda Clark, Aaron Hall, Keith Washington, Tim McGraw, John Fogerty and most recently, Kid Rock.
It’s unknown what Everett and Petrena are up to these days.
