JG (from Chicago) was a male hip-hop rapper from the ’90s. Not much information is given about him, but he signed to Gasoline Alley Records.

In 1993, he released the single “Put Down the Guns.” Despite the music video for the single receiving some airplay, the single didn’t appear to make the charts.

After that, it seems as if JG has faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from him since the ’90s.

Ebony Vibe Everlasting (or E.V.E.) was a female R&B group from the ’90s that consisted of Gina Gomez, Edie-May Grant, Jenisa Garland and Mia Ambrester. Gina and Mia had each pursued solo careers before joining the group. goodlifeIn 1994, the group released their debut (and only) album “Good Life” on MCA Records. Gina Go Go

Gina Go Go (born Gina Gomez) was a female pop/dance singer from the late ’80s. In 1994, she became a member of short-lived female R&B group Ebony Vibe Everlasting. After the group faded into obscurity, so did Gina. It’s unknown what she is up to today.

One 2 Many was a Norwegian pop band from the late ’80s that consisted of singer Camilla Grieshel, keyboardist Dag Kolsrud and guitarist Jan Gisle Ytterdal. mirrorIn 1988, they released their only album “Mirror” on A&M Records. It’s unknown how or if the album charted. downtown

The first single “Downtown” topped the charts in Norway and was moderately successful in the Netherlands. In the U.K., the song peaked at #43 on the U.K. Singles chart.

In the U.S., it peaked at #37 on the Billboard Hot 100, #30 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart, #29 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart and #18 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart. anotherman nearlythere writingonwallThe follow-up singles “Another Man,” “Writing on the Wall” and “Nearly There” failed to make much impact on the charts. Dag Kolsrud went on to join the band Guys in Disguise and later went on to have a solo career. He later became the musical director for A-Ha’s world tour.

Camilla Griehsel married U.K. singer Colin Vearncombe (from the band Black) in 1990. These days, she continues to be active in the music business, touring along with her husband. It is unknown what Jan Gisle Ytterdal is up to these days.

Woods Empire

Rick Wes

Rick Wes (born Craig Gendreau) was a former pop singer from the early ’90s. He was discovered by Maurice Starr (who was well known for working with groups such as New Edition, New Kids on the Block and Perfect Gentlemen). nsewIn 1990, Rick released his debut album “North, South, East and Wes” on Columbia Records. After that, it seemed as if Rick had faded into obscurity, but these days (according to a comment I received), he works at Flash Global in Fall River, Massachussetts.
