MC Roni D (real name Veronica A. Dale) was a hip-hop artist from the ’90s. Not much information is given about her, but she was signed to Vision Records.

In 1993, she released the single “Niggaz Get Paid On 15th Ave” (or “Brothaz Get Paid on 15th Ave” which is the clean version of the song). It’s unknown how or if the single made the charts at all.

Her follow-up single “On 15th Ave.\Bass Check” also failed to make any impact on the charts.

After that, it seems as if MC Roni D faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from her since the ’90s.

five and dime
The Book was a freestyle\dance music act from the late ’80s. Not much information is given about them, but they were signed to Vision Records.

In 1988, they released their only single “Five & Dime” which was written by Richard & Anthony Booker and executively produced by Gonzalo Santalla. It’s unknown how or if the single made any music charts at all.

Dee Nuveau was a female freestyle\dance singer from the late ’80s. Not much information is given about Dee, but she was signed to Ligosa Records.

In 1988, she released her only single “Anything Goes.” It’s unknown how or if the single made any charts at all.

After that, it seems as if Dee has faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from her since the ’80s.

Chilla Frauste

chilla frausteChilla Frauste (born Anthony Christian) was a hip-hop\Miami bass artist from the late ’80s.
R-5583158-1397215903-6497In 1987, Chilla released his debut single “Bedtime Stories” under the name “Chilla Frauste and the Ice Cold Crew.” The song sampled Nu Shooz’s song “I Can’t Wait,” but didn’t appear to make any impact on the charts.
R-319322-1437719277-9135In 1988, he released his second single “Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose” which received minor reception in South Florida, but didn’t make any music charts at all.

getoffDuring that same year, Chilla released his third single, a cover version of Foxy’s song “Get Off.”

Neither the album or single appeared to make any impact on the charts and after that, it seems as if Chilla Frauste has faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what he’s up to these days.

murray macdougallMurray MacDougall was a dance music singer from the late ’80s\early ’90s. Not much information is given about him, but he released music on Vision Records & Hot Records.

These days, it’s unknown what Murray MacDougall is up to & it appears as if he has faded into obscurity.

Torrey Carter (born from Michigan) is a male R&B singer from the 2000s.

After performing for Missy Elliott in 1998 in New York’s Greenwich Village, Torrey was signed to her record label, the Goldmind Inc., becoming the first male artist signed to the label.
take thatIn June of 2000, he released his debut single “Take That” (which also featured guest-vocals from Missy Elliott). The song peaked at #87 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #14 on Billboard’s Hot R&B\Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 19 weeks.
life i liveDue to the poor chart performance of the single, Elektra Records dropped Torrey from the record label & shelved his debut album “The Life I Live,” although a promotional copy appears to be exist.

After that, nothing much was heard from Torrey until 2006 when he helped co-write & produce Nina Sky’s song “Building a Vibe.”

By 2007, he released two singles “Pause” & “Get it Girl” on his MySpace page which generated enough buzz to make a new album, but those plans never materialized & Torrey went on to pursue other musical opportunities.
rebirthIn September of 2012, Torrey released a new single called “ReBbrth”. These days, it appears if he is still active in the music business according to his Twitter page.

Spyyce were a female dance\R&B duo from the ’80s that consisted of Joyce Hurley & Shara Martin.

Before Spyyce, Joyce released a solo album in 1978 on the 44 Records label.
my baby loves lovin'In 1983, they released their only single “My Baby Loves Lovin’\Movin’ (With the Rhythm) on Moby Dick Records. It’s unknown how or if the single made any music charts at all.

After that, it seems as if Spyyce haas faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from them since the 1980s.

In 1981, they released their only single “(Won’t You) Dance With Me.” It’s unknown how or if the single made the charts at all.

According to research, the song was supposed to be featured on their album “Winning Combination,” but it doesn’t appear that it was ever released.

After that, it seems as if Crystal and the Team have faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what they’re up to these days.
