Amber Dotson

Amber DotsonAmber Dotson (born in Garland, Texas) is a country music singer from the 2000s. She first worked as a songwriter for Sony\Tree Publishing and later began singing demos as well.

Amber made an appearance as a background vocalist on Travis Tritt’s 2004 album, “My Honky Tonk History” and after George Strait heard some of her demos, he invited her to join him on his 2005 tour.
i'll try anythingIn 2005, Amber was signed to the Capitol Records Nashville label and released her debut single, “I’ll Try Anything” which peaked at #59 on Billboard’s Hot Hot Country Songs chart, staying on the chart for only a week.
i ain't your mamaHer follow-up single, “I Ain’t Your Mama” failed to make the charts and she never released an album.

After that, it seems as if Amber Dotson has faded into obscurity. It’s unknown what she’s currently up to these days.

Tammy Cochran

Tammy CochranTammy Cochran (born on January 30, 1972 in Austinburg, Ohio) is a country music singer from the 2000s.

Tammy is the only daughter of Mabel and Delmar Cochran. Her two older brothers, Shawn and Alan each died of cystic fibrosis. When she was 8 years old, Tammy’s father taught her the words to her first song, “Heartaches by the Numbers” and later gained experience singing at her family’s church.

By the time Tammy was 12 years old, she entered a local talent contest and during her teen years, she formed a band called TC Country where they performed at fairs, weddings & clubs.

After graduating from high school, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1991 where she took vocational training to become a secretary. She got married in 1996, but divorced soon afterward.

In 1998, Tammy met Shane Decker, who worked as a songwriter for Warner Bros. Records that offered to help her make demos to send to record companies & also helped her get a job working as a songwriter for Warner Chappell.
if you canTammy’s demo tapes were sent to Epic Records and in 2000, she released her debut single, “If You Can” which peaked at #41 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 17 weeks.
So WhatShe followed it up with the single, “So What” which peaked at #51 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 12 weeks.
angels in waitingIn March of 2001, Tammy released her third single, “Angels in Waiting” (which was written about her brothers) which became her biggest hit to date, peaking at #9 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart (staying on the chart for 32 weeks) and crossed over to the pop charts where it peaked at #73 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The music video for “Angels in Waiting” won a Christian Country Music Award for “Video of the Year.”

The last single released from the single, “What Kind of Woman Would I Be” failed to make the charts at all and Tammy was dropped from Epic Records in 2003.

In 2007, Tammy released her third album, “Where I Am” independently on the Shanachie Records label. Two years later, she released her last album to date, “30 Something and Single.”

According to research, it appears as if Tammy is still singing and she has also adopted a son named Shawn. In 2014, she starred in a musical show called “One” at the Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Lisa Angelle (born on December 27, 1965 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a country music singer\songwriter that began her career in the ’80s. Her mother was a singer\songwriter\producer and her father was a preacher & a DJ.
Love, It's The PitsDuring that time, Lisa was signed to the EMI America Records label where she released her first single, “Love, It’s the Pits” in 1985 which peaked at #78 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart, staying on the chart for 4 weeks.

The Kinleys

The KinleysThe Kinleys were a female country music duo that consisted of identical twin sisters, Heather and Jennifer Kinley (born on November 5, 1970 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania).

As children, Heather and Jennifer began taking vocal lessons after being encouraged by their parents’ singing at home. At the age of 8, they began performing at local talent shows. They also appeared on TV talent show that aired in the Philadelphia area called “Al Alberts’ Showcase.”

When they were 19 years old, the duo moved to Nashville, Tennessee. After five years of practicing and training, the Kinleys attracted the attention of talent scouts and signed a record deal with Epic Records.
PleaseIn July of 1997, they released their debut single, “Please” which peaked at #7 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 22 weeks. It also crossed over to the pop charts where it peaked at #67 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Just Between You And MeOn September 23, 1997, the Kinleys released their debut album, “Just Between You and Me” which peaked at #153 on the Billboard 200, #22 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and #6 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers Albums chart.

The title song peaked at #12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 20 weeks. It also peaked at #122 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.

The third single released from the album, “Dance in the Boat” peaked at #49 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks.

The last single from the album, “You Make It Seem So Easy” peaked at #48 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 13 weeks.

The Kinleys’ debut album was certified Gold by the RIAA and its commercial success led to a tour with singer Clint Black and a radio programmers’ showcase in Las Vegas, Nevada. They also won the Academy of Country Music Award for “Top New Vocal Duo\Group.”
Somebody's Out There WatchingIn 1998, the duo recorded the song, “Somebody’s Out There Watching” which was featured on the soundtrack to the CBS TV series, “Touched By An Angel.” It peaked at #64 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #19 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 22 weeks.
My Heart Is Still BeatingIn July of 1999, the Kinleys released the single, “My Heart is Still Beating” which peaked at #63 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for only 2 weeks.

It was supposed to be featured on their planned sophomore album (which was scheduled to be released in the fall of 1999), but after the song failed to make the Top 40 on the country music charts, the album was postponed by Epic Records.

After that, the label decided to bring in singer-songwriter\producer Radney Foster to work with the Kinleys in order to broaden their sound and gain stronger appeal on the charts.
She Ain't The Girl For YouIn April of 2000, the duo released the single, “She Ain’t the Girl For You” which peaked at #34 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 21 weeks.

In July of that same year, their sophomore album, “II” was released. The album peaked at #177 on the Billboard 200, #18 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and #10 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers Albums chart.

The follow-up single from the album, “I’m In” (which was originally sung by Radney Foster in 1998) peaked at #35 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, staying on the chart for 22 weeks and becoming their last charting single to date.

After the release of their second album, the Kinleys left Epic Records due to dissatisfaction with touring and wanting to start families of their own. In 2000, Heather and Jennifer got married seven months apart; both of them have two sons & Heather has two stepchildren.
All In The FamilyIn 2004, the duo independently released their last album to date, “All in the Family.”

As of 2013, Jennifer worked as a registered nurse in Nashville and sang in church. According to research, Heather appears to be involved in the Doodle Rescue Collective Inc. which rescues labradoodles and goldendoodles dogs.

Daniela So HotDaniela was a freestyle\dance singer from the late ’80s. Not much information is given about this artist, but she was signed to the Invasion Recordings record label.

In 1988, she released her only single, “So Hot” which didn’t appear to make any impact on the music charts.

After that, it seems as if Daniela faded into obscurity and nothing much has been heard from her since the ’80s.

Linda Marie ‎– The Way Love Should BeLinda Marie was a freestyle\dance singer from the ‘late 80s. Not much information is given about her, but she was signed to the Requestline Records label.
