Thunderflash was an R&B\funk group from the ’80s that consisted of Crystal Wilson, Michiko Hill, Pee Wee Hill, Raymond Pounds and Ronnie Vann.
In 1982, they released their only album “Taking ‘Em By Storm” on Jam Power Records. It’s unknown how or if the album made the charts.
The first single from the album “Not a Day Too Soon” peaked at #46 on Billboard’s Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks, becoming their only chart appearance to date.
The follow-up singles “One Time to Learn\I Try” and “Reach Your High Tonite” didn’t appear to make the Billboard charts at all.
Thunderflash released two more singles “Blast” and “Love So Right” before fading into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from them since.
